About Me

"Be the change you want to see in the world" — Gandhi

As a child I always remember wanting to help people and support those in need. It was always important to my parents. From an early age we were taught that it was better to give than to receive. I learned early on that the world is not always a fair place, and it saddened me when I realized that people do not have the opportunity to believe in their dreams. Gandhi's quote, "Be the change you want to see in the world," is one I try to live my life by every day. I love the field of Social Work and helping people succeed. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and my CPC from Grow Publications.

Shortly after graduate school I realized that 'Strengths Perspective' was my favorite of all the theories I had learned. I think that should be the way we live our life every day. I believe we should focus on helping people see their strengths and build on them to live a successful life. I have always been the kind of person to see the good in others and each day look for ways to help lift them up. I enjoy watching all the good that comes when individuals believe in themselves and take small steps toward reaching their dreams. I am passionate about my work and the success that comes from working together to achieve GOALS. I am ready to take this Journey with you!
